Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite time of the year. I love to watch the Macy's day parade every year on tv. This years parade was as spectacular as last year. I enjoyed every moment of it. Now I look forward to Christmas another favorite. ;D

Dreams Do Come True

I am sitting in my living room watching Susan Boyle's documentary.  People who heard Susan Boyle sing that day must have been in pure shock with their mouths wide open.  Many people think that if you are pretty or look a certain way you have more of a chance of being successful.  In Britain's Got Talent tv show no one ever expected to hear such a beautiful voice come from her. Susan Boyle proved everyone wrong.  She proved to the world that beauty is on the inside and not on the outside.  Everyone who was making faces because of her appearance when she came out that day got a lesson of a lifetime.  Because the audience was  doubting that she had any talent.  But when she sang they were in shocked to hear her beautiful voice.  Susan Boyle sky rocketed to fame from that day she sang on Britain's Got Talent show in 2009.  Since that day her name has been recognized all over the world.  She has the biggest selling albums beating Lady Gaga and Beyonce two mega superstars.  She became the first female to ever have two albums to reach number one in the US and UK within a year,  Wow, talk about dreams coming true, this ones a reality.  The Beatles had accomplished the same sells in their time.  She lives a lives a very humble life and is not married.  One of her close friends said gets sad because there's no one home to welcome her when she comes home from her travels.  I believe that things happen for a reason.  The same way people were surprised to hear such a wonderful voice come from her, that is the same way Susan Boyle is going to be surprised a swept off her feet by that special someone.
