My Crazy Day Off
Yesterday was Veterans Day "Hats Off To All Veterans". I had set up to do so many things but did not do half of the things I set up to do. Instead I layed in bed relaxed and watched tv. I only got up from bed to eat or use the bathroom. When I finally got out of bed around 2:30pm because I was getting tired of being in bed. I decided to do the laundry. I had so much clothes in the laundry bag that to me it seemed like it was taking forever to wash. I sat in my livingroom to watch tv while my washer was doing it's magic of washing my clothes. Before I knew it I looked at the clock and it was going to be 8:00pm. I think to myself funny how time flies. I then hung up the clothes that I had washed in the hallway of my apartment and sat down to finish watching my soap. When my soap opera finished I go to the bathroom to get a bath because I have to wake up early to go to work the next morning. This morning on my way out I noticed a laundry bag in the hallway and I said to myself that's funny because I only had one bag of clothes. I realized that the clothes that I had washed was not the bag of clothes I needed to wash. I washed a laundry bag of clothes that I was going to throw away. But now that they look so good and clean I decided to keep them.

My Grand-Daughter
My 7 year old grand-daughter always comes to my room. She likes to paint her nails and use my
make-up. She always tells me grandma do you have some lipstick or eyeshadow that you don't want?
I always find a lipstick or anything else to give her. She loves it when I buy her glittery lipsticks. She
gets so happy and excited. One day when I was styling my hair I did a little bump in the front part of
my hair on to of my forehead. Then I did a french braid and did my make-up. When I was ready to
go outside my grand-daughter saw me and said grandma grandma you have a bump on your head.
Grandma did you fall down and bumped your head? I laughed so hard because all I could picture
was a huge bump on my head. Everytime I think about that day I could be anywhere and I would
start to laugh and people would look at me like if I were crazy.

True Yankee Fan
Hello! My Friends
I want to share my exictement on the Yankees world series champions. I am so happy that my favorite team has won. I haven't stop talking about and celebrating their victory. I remember when I was a little girl in the 70's. My father and the neighbors that lived in our building at that time were really true Yankees fan. I say they were because some of the neighbors have passed away like my father. Well this is what happened. There were two buildings owned by the same landlord and the super was a Mets fan. Our building lights were controlled downstairs in the basement at that time and everytime the Yankees won the super would turn off the lights to our whole building and the apartments. So, the Yankee fans would take their garbage and throw it out the window and since the back yard was pitch black because there was no lights due to the fact that the super had turned them off. The super did not know who is throwing the garbage down. It was funny how the next day they would all say good morning to each other and laugh. But, it was funnier the way the super would say I don't know who threw all that garbage in the back yard. I had so much cleaning up to do. My father would say that's funny because our building and apartments lights go out everytime the Yankees win. My father would smile and say have a good day. Oh! and don't work to hard. Then he would walk away whistling.
